Good Morning from a Kiwi in NZ

I stumbled onto this site whilst looking for info on Sauer Rifles. I have just lashed out and purchased one in .270 cal a week ago. Sighted it in the same day, one shot at 25m it was dead on target. 100m, 1.75mm high and dead centre. Purred like a kitten. They are beautiful rifles, sort of like a "trophy wife".
Looking forward to our Sika hunting trip in early May.

sounds like you are good to go with the sauer, good choice of calibre as well.

You'll love the rifle. I wouldn't change mine for any other factory set up. Funnily enough I was just looking for sika calls and calling vid's and came across a few in NZ. Looks like you have some nice animals over there. My sister just moved over to NZ last week. Hope you find the site interesting.

Love my Sauer 202 in 270 win, great rifle and calibre, you live in a great country with breath-taking scenery and hunting opportunities, enjoy the site, wealth of information on here, read Philip Holden's book and earlier ones on deer control when I was younger, tell us about your hunting outings and make us jealous. deerwarden.
