    stick pivot point

Hi im trying to make some quad sticks. Looking at various makes the rear set of sticks that rest under the butt all seem to pivot very close to the ground. I have tried making some where the rear set are shorter and pivot about half way up the front set. They seem stable but is there any advantage of the normal set with the lower pivot point

    Hope this makes sense

    Cheers pete

Yes i got that feeling to. I have mocked up some with my bushwear sticks and bamboo cane. The advantage i can see of having a shorter back set is it could be used for sitti.g shots too.
