As I was heading to my ground for a mooch around on Friday I heard a glorious sound emanating from the 3/4 mile concrete road that leads up the hill to the farm buildings, and on further investigation it was this little beauty!!
One of only 3 left in the world, a 1963 historic ATS Formula 1 car being run in ready for Monaco in a weeks time after having the pistons changed in the V8. It was getting up to about 125mph at 10k rpm even on this short bit of road!!
The guy who lives nearby owns a company who looks after historic race cars for clients and readies them for the races through the year. I just missed the AC Cobra being tested that was number 4 off the production line!!
