Aolq

Dunno! But have a bump cos I'd be interested too. It obviously belongs to somebody and was not doing any harm? Not sure where you would stand on that one. I wonder if he had permission to take it if recapture would have been too difficult. The remark on darting being as easy as shooting shows some ignorance on both shooting and darting! It would be other quarry if you were given the ok to shoot it!

I'd be intrigued to see the condition on his ticket.
"any animal considered dangerous, not covered by deer or AOLQ"
The situation would make a good comic sketch.....
"So you want to include Rhea on your ticket,
YEP,
Why?
IN CASE........"

Aolq does it not stand for any other lawful quarry or any other legal quarry if the owner said it could be shot does that then make it lawful or legal quarry

I would have thought so.Same as shooting foxes on someone's land if your invited to do so by landowner and you have AOLQ on your ticket and a suitable rifle

Did he use a rifle? If it was a shotgun, which is more likely for a gamekeeper, he wouldn't need any conditions.
