I'd like to post here my first example of the knife I have just released.
4.25 inch blade, same as the Stalker, but a slim and straightforward blade. This has been designed to be an all deer knife. It will bleed a red but is narrow enough to gralloch and work at both ends of a muntjac. Made from Elax steel, will hold an edge but has an improvement in being easier to sharpen.
This one is in stabilised rippled maple over black liners with brass fittings, it comes silly sharp.
It comes with a brown, deep, friction fit sheath, made from veg tanned leather and dyed, sewn and burnised by hand. This is a long lasting item and with care will age gracefully.
It comes in my usual hand swell shape, which aids with cold and wet work and gives a bit more confidence when doing the gralloch.
It has my standard removable second loop as well as a cast brass loop to tie it down, should you carry it in a bag on the hill rather than belt wear.
I've taken my time with this one and I'm happy with it to go out. Maybe one day I'll have enough time to make one for me.
In all I'd like £245 for this knife and sheath delivered to your door.
Thanks all for looking.
