Antlers....and what to do with them

Some of you might recall previous threads where I've been looking for uses for old antler.

Well, a week or so ago my stalking mentor passed me two ammo boxes full of old roe and muntjac antlers.

I decided to have a session making key rings and zip pulls and this is the result:

The muntjac antler at about 1 o'clock measures just under 12.5cm, or 5 inches in old money. As a key ring you could do yourself a mischief with it if you're not careful, but I know people who'd give their hind teeth to shoot a muntjac with antlers like those. Still, better a key ring than sitting in a shed.

Now waiting on delivery of some split rings to finish them off.
