Today we received our first shipment of Pulsar's exitciting new Quantum HD50S thermal imagers.
With a detection range in excess of 1,250 metres, this hand-held device is ideal for wildlife observation, spotting vermin at night, deer stalking or security or surveillance.
Its "little brother", the Quantum HD38S, is currently Pulsar's best-selling thermal but the HD50S promises improved performance and image quality.
The hand-held device has a fast 30hz refresh rate, a F50/1.2 revised lens design and a 640x480 high resolution OLED display.
It has a 2.8x optical magnification with 2x digital zoon, and will provide detection of wildlife even when traditional night vision is impeded by objects such as rain, fog, or objects such as grass and foliage.
If you want to test a HD50S, come down to our stand at the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, from 18-20 July where you can try it out. We'll also have a purpose-built dark tunnel with us, where you can test our full range of night vision kit.
They retail at £3,399 and you can find out more about them at http://www.scottcountry.co.uk/produc...mager-5647.htm
