Good result

I've been waiting ages for the weather to improve and the wheat to dry enough for the farmer to combine the huge field opposite me, infront of a large wood.
Well today was the day and it was combined, the straw baled and hauled away.
What an irresistible vista for the foxes that have been on raiding parties all summer feasting on my neighbours chickens and ducks.
I parked up my Jimny, having earlier checked out the wind direction and best spot to get a good view with a safe backstop. About 10pm they all came to dine and I was waiting.

But 4 foxes in the bag, what a result. I never expected to get the whole group. 2 Vixens and 2 dogs.
Just as well, the Pheasant poults go into the pens soon and the last thing we need is charlie getting at them.

Don't think that will be them all. I'd be expecting at least 4 more cubs if you shot the dog and vixen. Seen litters up to 12 this years so you would be very lucky if they only had 2.
