Magnum Primers

Some powder manufacturers recommend using Magnum primers with some powders. I seem to be getting a lot more reliable accuracy and fewer fliers since I started using them with H380, though I do need to experiment a bit more when I've got time.
Has anyone else experienced increased accuracy when using them and do you reduce your loads by the 10% that they recommend?

Cheers
Mick

It's generally accepted that Magnum primers are needed to ignite ball or spherical grained powders more efficiently, loads stated to be made up, usually give a primer number, so identifying wether small , large, or magnum.

When changing any primers you should reduce loads 10% but especially when switching to magnums. You need to start over again.~Muir

HI MICK I ALWAYS USE THEM EXCEPT FOR REALLY HOT WEATHER.I THINK THE POWDER BURNS A LOT CLEANER WHICH I THINK MAKES FOR BETTER ACCURACY HOPE THIS HELPS :)
