I bought a Browning B25 Superposed 12g from the year 1972 and was wondering how to identify the exact model. It has 30" barrels, choked 3/4 & full with a pretty but plain black action and the rib is really wide. It also has two ivory beads and i think it may be a trap gun.
I done some searching and there was an American model called a "broadway lightning" but this is not engraved anywhere. It is without the best duck and pigeon gun i have ever used. I know wide ribs are a Marmite feature but it shoots so well with very little recoil even with 36g 4"s and the wide rib makes pointing easy.
Anyone know how to I.D. it or value it?
