    Stalking in Italy

I am going to be moving to Italy for a couple of years. Can anyone give advice on stalking opportunities, licences, firearms regulations etc?

You lucky b*gger!! Whereabouts will you be living? I travel to Italy a lot for work and love the country. Most of my time is in Milan, Turin and near Venice (Udine). I've never had a bad meal yet!!

Do you speak Italian? If so, you might want to start with contacting the Italian Hunting organisation (FIDC) at
There are normally regional hunting associations that you will also want to contact.

If it helps, I have a copy of the Italian hunting magazine "Cacciare a palla" that I can send you - PM me your address if you'd like to see it. This is the magazine's website:

BTW, I don't speak Italian, was just looking for some airline reading

I know that Safari Club International ( have an Italian chapter.

I am presuming you've trawled the net - see and for example.

Have you tried any of the Italian hunting websites? and look interesting
