A short-action BLR 81 Browning lever rifle in .223 Rem. with heavy profile 19.5" free-floating stainless Lothar Walther barrel fitted by Norman Clark. This has a 1 in 9" twist but please note it doesn't like bullet weights in excess of 60gns. Threaded 5/8" UNF by Norman, with a 'can't see the join' thread protector. It comes with three modified 20rd Mini 14 mags (one of which needs modification) plus the original 5 round flush-fitting mag. It has an extra sling swivel for a Chinn sling or speed loop. The scope bases are weaver-type. It has only been used for an annual PR comp plus plinking and vermin control since being rebarrelled. The bolt carrier is a new replacement (the gear teeth can wear on these) and it comes with a spare firing pin and spring. The stock has a number of dings and scratches. £480 plus RFD to RFD carriage if required. Scope and rings offered as an optional extra: a vintage Kahles 3-9x42 with a no. 7 reticule, first focal plane. This has some loss of bluing and a dent which doesn't affect functioning. £250.00 extra. This is a very slick rifle which has been great fun to use.
