As above, A Breda Xanthos Grey in as new condition.
These are beautiful guns, lovely and light with an inertia system rather than gas, so no gas parts to get fowled up and need cleaning. They’re much lighter and faster handling than the Browning Maxus but even though it’s light as it’s a semi there’s virtually no recoil. Being the Grey it is the high spec model with higher grade wood as can be seen in the photos.
I bought this on a bit of a whim as my old OU isn’t steel proofed and some of my permissions have got a fair amount of duck on during the winter, but I’d never had a semi auto before and the design makes it just too different to chop and change between guns. If I could get away with using this on a game shoot then it would be my one gun but as I can’t then I may as well cut my losses and put the money to a new steel proofed game gun. It’s been to the clay ground 5 times so has had 250 cartridges through it and really is as new with it’s case and 5 spare chokes.

I’m looking for £995 which means it’s cost me more than £1 a shot but it’s been sat in my cabinet untouched for 8 months now so it’s just a waste of a lovely gun. I’d prefer face to face but I’m sure I could sort an RFD transfer if necessary.
I’m just outside Shaftesbury in North Dorset and work just outside Andover if you want to have a look at it.
