And I thought our leases were expensive

I was having a browse on the internet and thought I'd cast my eye on America.
Came across this page and thought blimey. We often moan about the prices for premium land leases over here but it's no wonder that our U.S. cousins have to form syndicates.
Those prices of course give them limited hunting with their tag system.
“Man surprised me most about humanity. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.”........Dalai Lama

Pretty accurate from a glance. We can expect to pay $10-$20 per acre per year for ground with trophy potential. Lots of variables will affect the price. Ground known to have BIG bucks will cost BIG $$.

i lost (voluntarily) a piece of family ground when some Out of State Doctors offered $5000 for just the week at peak rut. Hard to pass up that sort of money for a few deer.
