I had the same prob with my aim drag bag so i found that an air rifle scoped bag was good and had room for mod fitted and light enough to roll up for a rifle rest if needed £15.00 job done
I wouldn't be without my Eberlestock. For day stuff/travelling light I have a 'Mini-me' and scabbard - but I also have a Phantom, which is a nice combination of dragbag and rucksack - and can be changed into just a drag bag, drag back on a backpack harness, E&E pack (with and without harness) - or all together. Always nice to spread the weight evenly across both shoulders
I've recently bought a Härkila Skäne slip - really really good - has rucksack straps that you can tuck away too + a decent pocket for mod, bipod, binos etc - well recommended
