Morning All,

There has just been a news article on the BBC news about the growing population of deer, to the point they are going into urban gardens for food. We now have the largest population of deer in the uk for 1000 years.

The reason given for the rise in population was mild winters and the decline of foxes!!!!

Have a good day!

What would you expect from the Brown Bu-llshite Company?.

They certainly wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and bit them .

id like to see a fox taiking down a deer:doh: but roe are coming off the hill and into gardens in one peace of ground i have the buggers have all moved in to the gardens at the bottom of the hill the residents are happy to see them wait till its summer and all the roses etc get munched :eek:see if they still want them there then

I heard it, what a load of tripe. These ppeople with their adlib comments influence people who vote on such things as shooting. If they have got nothing useful or factual to say, they should keep their mouths shut.

In some places foxes are a significant predator of Roe kids with foxes actively seeking out the young deer and not just 'bumping' into them during their wanderings.
