155 grn mega reloads in 6.5x55

guys i am wonder if any body as some reloads in 6.5x55 for 155 grn mega could use the help, thanks atb steve
 
Are you having trouble making them shoot? Or are you looking for starting load data? If it's the latter, use 160 grain data and work your way up.

If it's the former, remember that someone elses load for that bullet may not be safe or accurate in your rifle. ~Muir
 
The lapua website has data for their mega bullets I have used them in .308 they have the bc of a brick !!

Hi Dollman,

This is what I'm using.

Lapua brass
CCI 200 LR primers
44grains VV N160
OAL 76mm

I haven't chronographed the load but suspect it to be around 750-760 mps

The Lapua Mega is a great bullet and is highly regarded over here in Scandinavia, it's looked on as an allround bullet and is used on roe deer up to moose and everything in between, in fact many prefer it to the bonded Norma Oryx which is a lot more expensive.

Loaded at moderate speeds (750-800 mps) meat damage is minimal and the penetration is excellent.
