I have decided to buy a 223. I am going with one of the above guns. What I'd like to know is there any benefit in picking the super varmint over the standard varmint. all help is appreciated

As I understand it, they both use the identical action, barrel and trigger.
The only difference being the stock, everyone has different tastes but my money would be spent on the 'normal varmint'.

If you use a scope with a large objective lens ( IE 56mm ) the adjustable cheekpiece on the Super V is great to get the correct eye scope alignment.

The SV is also the better choice if you use NV - for the reason above , and it is fitted with a Piccatinny rail as standard.

Other than that - they are the same basic rifle.
