Mallarmits:

In 1970 a school friend with the unlikely name of Zorro Ivano Parmigiani and I started shooting together. At first with air rifles and later with single barrel shotguns. A box of cartridges was about a pound. I still have a few BB’s left, Eley high velocity they were 25/- (shillings, or £1-25)
We shot together until after our A levels when Zorro emigrated to Australia taking his shooting gear with him. He became a Fisheries and Wildlife Officer.
Soon after he left I noticed that my two year old pair of fingerless Malarmitt gloves has lost their label. Further inspection revealed that I has two left/right hands.
No problem I just wear one the wrong way round and have done for 30 years. They are still in good condition. I can’t say how the Aussie pair are doing.

Fingerless gloves very hard wearing, don't think they are made any more, if they are would love another pair.
