I had 26 minutes of coverage as the buck moved from half-way across the field towards me.

That first one seems to have some thickness to his head. Very nice.

Novice

The first four photos are all of the same buck, whereas the following three pictures are each separate animals. In total they come from a pretty small area (perhaps 6 or 8 fields) which gives some idea of the density of bucks around here!

Agreed on the density. I have a modest patch that is producing a good number of bucks in Berkshire. I counted four does in one field the other night, two with twins, one solitary and one with last year's female of spring but no fawn this year.
 
Whilst I saw a buck this morning, it was too far away to grab a photo. The only deer that presented itself was this doe....and fairly typically she was stood behind a branch :doh:

I video'd him for just over 5 minutes as both he and I stood stationary, waiting for the first one to move......I won :D
