There has been a lot of "truth twisting" number manipulation on both sides, but I have tried to look at the bigger picture. I truly believe the EU is broken beyond economical repair and is destined for the scrapyard. The £350,000,000 a week figure is constantly being refuted but the fact remains it starts off as that and then we get some of it back in grants, and the rest around 9.5billion goes into the EU coffers, allegedly to help the weaker members get stronger but I feel mostly to run the Gravy train railroad company.
People keep pointing out that Norway has to pay into the EU coffers, I believe it is £66,000,000 per YEAR, we pay about five times that per week. We are a great customer of the EU and provide a good income to a good few of them, according to the way that Cameron and company speak the day after the referendum if it is out we will be lucky to see a French onion seller on his bike, utter tosh! The NHS will also grind to halt the day after as every immigrant in the Country will suddenly disappear, more rubbish.
The truth is that our Prime Minister has become an arrogant, patronising, dismissive man who seems to think that absorbing the facts and making our minds up is beyond us, he has been tumbled and does not like it. I have no doubt that there will be a cost to leaving but I am convinced that it will be cheaper than the train wreck that is awaiting the EU down the line. Even the president of the EU Donald whatsisface has said today that the EU needs to look at reform. They can try to bully us as much as they like but we are a big enough economy to fight back and deal the EU one or two telling body blows, and they know it trade deals will be forthcoming, business will not be dictated to by politcians IMHO.
