Hi Chaps,

Have often wondered if such a thing as a register or section listing contact details existed on the forum for fellow stalkers, having met a number of members over the years and become firm friends with some I'm keen to meet a few more, particularly in Kent.

It would be good to make it known if you are interested in meeting up, not only socially for a pint but perhaps mutual invitations for accompanied Stalking on fresh ground. It is always interesting to see how other stalkers do it, different high seats, kit etc. Personally I have years of experience with Wildlife cameras that I'm itching to pass on.

ALSO.....

I have Fallow and a few Roe on my ground in Kent and am considering taking on someone keen to learn more, possibly working towards DSC1 and just needing some hands on experience. This is an offer to give a genuine novice a helping hand in all aspects of Fallow Stalking to boost confidence etc.

What a tremendous opportunity for someone. If you weren't a few hundred miles from Monmouthshire I would bite your hand off!
 
If you do an advanced search, you will find another 280 SD members in Kent. Not sure how many are active, though.

Ill also vouch for my mate Willowbank. Lovely bloke and very knowledgeable. He helped me a lot with my DSC2 prep

Only down side is he WILL persuade you to spend money you don't have on Thermal :D

Following on from 2017 ......

two novice stalkers successfully went on to do DSC1 and there is a vacancy for a genuinely complete novice to join us,
Successful applicant MUST reside in Kent, will already have deer caliber rifle, be physically fit and have a practical hands on approach to work parties.
