How’s it going paddy?
Squeaked any more Munties ?
Would genuinely like to know if you’re happy.

Dont be silly, I'm a miserable feicer. Been quiet year for Bambi. Had a few Munties though. Was taking down a highseat from against a tree near the tennis court and was being eyeballed by a Roebuck. No rifle in tow of course. Bloody thing never showed up when I had the rifle though. Got 4 does on that ground and at least 2 Munties. Just need to sort out me being in the right place at the right time. Usual thing. Lol

Useless feicer.

I'd like to thank Teyhan1 for kindly offering this opportunity to me yesterday morning, what a top bloke! We stalked into small group within a few minutes of arriving, unfortunately my faffing spooked them and they decided not to hang around. We then set out on quite a trek up a deceptively steep and densely wooded hill covered in slick mud and the odd killer bramble where we found a lovely big group of does on an open field, accompanied by a nice buck. I was ready this time, unfortunately they were the wrong side of the boundary and most of them decided to leave and go further onto the neighbours land. A few had come into the woodland on our side of the boundary, but we didn't catch up with them, they'd simply melted away. All that remained now was getting back down the hill, via a steep bank and a small cliff which one of us is now very closely acquainted with! ;)
No deer in the bag, which is always a pity, but it's always nice to meet new people and go new places so certainly not a wasted journey.

teyhan1.
Fair play to you. A few years back I used to take people out with my Gos hawk. Found it to be very rewarding.
I read a post the other day about some chap struggling to get ground or even get out, similar to myself.
Its nice to see such generosity good on you.

It’s say it as it is SIMON.
I made a tit of myself and fell 5-6m down a disused quarry.
Still I reckon it was more ‘falling with style’.
Still laughing about it now.
