What viht powder for .22-250?

Lads anybody using viht powder with 55grain vmax in .22-250?

My mate shoots a hot charge of N140 to very accurate effect

Vit n160 very good with 22 250 and 55gr

160 is a tad slow, but it obviously works in yours.
N135 in the lighter weight bullets 35s 40s
N540 and N140 N150 in the higher weights up to 60s

Me too, my T3 is very happy with 55gr Sierra Blitzkingsw, 35.1gr of N140 and CCI LR primers

I reload for 9 rifle in 22.250. All using 55gr Vmax and N150.

If you seat the bullet around an ogive measurement of 1.955" and use around 37 to 37.5 gr of N150 it will easily group sub .5"

I don't know who started this "heads" thing here in the UK but it needs to fade away.

Often it seems to be people who worry that sloppy use of terminology may lead to misunderstandings, which might in turn cause safety problems. There are folk who have the wrong idea of what 'headspace' is, for example, because they believe a bullet is called a 'head'.

Aside from which, the people with too much time on their hands are presumably those who have the leisure to type 'bullet head', when 'bullet' is both shorter and correct.

Kind hard to avoid using terminology when majority of RFD you ask for
“ bullets” pull out factory ammo .... it’s not till you ask for “heads” that you get box for reloading
So what do you do ?
Use heads
