The SA government has overwhelmingly voted to seize land from white farmers without compensation, the same policy didn't play out well in Zim. I wonder how many animals will be left on the game farms after ownership changes and how much the agricultural productivity of SA will drop:

Apparently what they have done doesn't stand up in the face of the SA constitution nor international law. Will look for the link when I get back to work.

I can see a number of farmers hunting some two legged game before too much longer ....I'm sure they would appreciate a hand.

The trouble with this is that some of those white families have lived there since the 16th. Century - this is longer than some of the black families who were forced south by the actions of Arab slave traders - so if people have lived in a country for the thick end of 500 years they might almost be called locals!

There is no such thing as right and wrong - there is only winning and loosing

In the 70's we (my family and others) lost - in the 2020's it looks like the farmers of SA will loose

Emotive b****ks take a proper look at history not the crap they feed in schools, yes we did some awful things, so did everyone. We must keep an eye on the past to prevent things occurring again but to say "ah well 200 years ago someone acted in a way that with todays sensibilities was wrong so these lot can do what they like" is bloody ridiculous.

Try telling that to a child who has been raped and tortured while their bound parents have been forced to watch. You'll easily spot them by the 'joker' smile scars on their face. Similar to the old Chelsea grin. That's if the poor little bugger hasn't been left face down in the dust.

It will soon be our concern when they have finished turning the fertile and productive land into a dust bowl. Who do you think they are going to turn to for aid?
Here's a clue, before the farms there was a population of around 1.5million in SA widely considered the sustainable subsistence level for the land as in its natural state. Now the population stands nearer the 56million mark. As the farms stop producing who is going to feed them? Or are they all going to go and be put up in Lilly Allens mansion?

Got to admit this sort of rubbish winds me up. Yes, we may have taken the land, for a while, but look what we gave in return. Do you really think India would have a space program if left to their own devices, no, they'd still be riding bullocks to fetch water in old tin cans. South Africa the same, they'd be sitting under trees until they starved to death. We gave a lot in return, and still do, in fact it's time we stopped giving, they've had quite enough recompense by now.

Land distribution works very well in Rwanda. Dont like your neighbors and want a bigger plot no problems. Pick up a machete and there you go. 800,000 dead later redistribution is done fairly and quickly. That is the native way.

I was having this discussion today.
If the Blacks are left to their own devices and "run" the country in thier way the world and they need to accept that 10's of millions of them will die.A subsistence lifestyle can only support a small population even on rich fertile lands. As without farming and modern agriculture wildlife will be decimated, timber cut and burned leaving barren lands etc. That is now there are 10's of millions on the continent. Had the whites not bought the benefits of agriculture and industrialisation their number would never have got to today's heights.
The mindset is to live for today, that is find today's food, today's water, today's shelter and when it's not there move somewhere else. That's why the only true way to be African is to be nomadic.
However now there are so many that system can not be sustainable and we find ourselves artificially holding up their population. And because we only just about hold it up there are permanent famines, disease outbreaks, wars over the hand outs etc.
It would be a great shame if the African people never benefited from the natural wealth that continent holds, but history shows they have never done anything with it. Why that is I don't know, but as far as I see the Africans have never built anything that lasts. The Aztecs built cities 1000's of years ago, as did the Romans, Vikings, and the like, even North American Indians adapted the coast line to produce muscle beds and kelp fields etc.

All that said and accepting the blacks want the land for themselves why don't we offer a home to Doctors, nurses, police officers etc, who want to leave SA and come to the UK. Maybe we should be honest and say we can't afford to pay you a fortune but we can offer you a place to come and be a part of out nation. A safe place for your children and somewhere to build a future. But our governments won't do it, they will still let 1000's of low paid workers in from the EU who come only to earn money to go ack to their homelands where they are then well off.(not all I accept, but many).

Far too many people - requiring ever more elaborate industrial systems and globalised systems of control to enable 7 billion people to co-exist on a planet that is not capable of supporting such numbers for very long

It is , I believe, what lies behind the march of Globalism - replacing disparate communities and different cultures with the tyranny of a mono-culture and ever more powerful mind control through suggestion via the electronic media

Brexit (sorry) and the dissatisfaction that led to Trump is the last little wriggle of a West that is about to loose its freedom and its democracy to global corporate control

And I agree the world and it's consumerism will eventually consume all that there is and our race will have to rebalance its numbers and relationship with the land. As you say globalisation can not work forever as eventually those at the bottom who's sweat we make our profit from will want more of the cake, but the cake has got no bigger and more mouths are chewing on it. Laws and rule are made to prevent small groups and individuals from living a different life, even prevented from complaining or trying to protect their way of life is being made difficult. (i.e. the right to hunt one's own food). Unfortunately there are so few of us that don't want to comply with the brain washing, consumerism, pc and liberal messages that we have no power to even defend our own culture never mind bring about change.
