Which app Strelok pro or Strelok +??

The non-Pro version is fine for basics, but if you want to be able to do proper truing up, and add Weatherflow functionality, you need the Pro version. The Pro version also gets the updates and new reticles etc. first. Well worth it IMO.

Another vote for Strelok Pro, great package and if you need a new reticle adding to the database or any other tweeks then the customer service from Igor (the author) is outstanding.

ok bought it. anywhere there is a how to guide for dummies?

The link posted is good, plus Igor replies to e-mails. I've got a Word doc that records what I set up and why. I don't use it often enough to be comfortable with the App. I do back my rifles up to Dropbox. I do set up a rifle profile per rifle/scope/bullet combination.

Have fun.

I think plugging in your BC, MV and accurate scope to bore height are straightforward enough. The real art is on putting in real environmental data (altitude, temperature etc.), shooting the ranges and then tweaking things like BC to give you accurate drops. Having done this once, I have never been more than a click out from the drop chart when real environmentals have been applied (through use of Weatherflow or Kestrel).

Richard Utting of Sharpshooting UK, does a range day where he will help you true up all your rifles on the app. Many have said they have got good value from doing that.

Pro has a lot more features that I do t use yet as haven't got round to shooting that far out. Very useful app and with a cheap eBay plug in anemometer it sorts out the windage correction in real time allowing for gusts too. Worth the extra few quid and Igor is very quick to respond to emails and add reticles if you give him the specs.

I've got the free version & it seems to work fine except that it doesn't include simple common reticles like a German no1 or a 4A for the main players like Swaro or Zeiss. Are these included in the Pro version? or do you have to ask the developer to send you them?

There are a lot of reticles in the Pro version, I'll check when I'm near my phone later. However, when I bought a Minox scope last year with a German #4 reticle I noticed it wasn't there so I emailed Igor, he replied asking for reticle subtensions. I requested the data from Minox UK and forwarded it to Igor. Two days later I received the concise response: (you need to say it in a Russian accent for best effect) "It is done"

I have Shooter and it uses G7 or G1. I then use just the free version of Strelok for the reticle look. So get both...
