New member in Sweden.

Hi my name is Phil.
I’ve been hunting since 2010 when I was working and living in Norway.
Norway accepts DSC1 as an equivalent to their required hunting course to obtain a license so I flew home and took that.
I now live in Sweden and would predominantly call myself a wild boar hunter, we generally let the deer jog on.
I’ve just got my Swedish license - which involved taking their course as they don’t accept qualifications gained outside of Scandinavia.
I’ve purchased a Mauser M12 in .308, I’m not a .308 guy I wanted a .270 but the guy at the gun shop put it to me this way - we have maybe 30 types of .308 ammo and maybe 6 types of .270...
As wild boar shots are generally taken at night the distances aren’t that great that the .270s advantages would come into play.
I’m generally here to learn from you all.

Let’s start like this - how do I reduce picture sizes for a profile photo please?

Thanks,

Phil.

Welcome from Essex,

I am sure the teck lads will put you right on the size thing, "Jog on" is not Swedish so spill the beans where you picked that up lol
