What are game dealers currently paying for Sika, please?
Our dealer has recently dropped to £1.90 as supposedly there is less of a demand for Sika. Fallow and Roe have stayed at £2.20.
Sika is the best to eat. Cant understand the lesser demand

I'm getting 2 Euro to 1.80 depending on weight and shot placement. Lower prices for lower body weight is because you get more wastage. What are game dealers currently paying for Sika, please?
I'm not a butcher, but thinking time spent to process a carcass would be roughly similar whether you were dealing with a large healthy beast of a species compared to a scrawny one. So, perhaps wasteage in terms of time ?Please explain the more wastage for lower body weight unless you mean skinny animals .
I think it's because the bones in a smaller animal weigh proportionatly more than they do for a larger animal. So, in terms of how much meat you get versus how much they've paid, it's better to take adult animals. Also why they like head shot animals as there's no carcase damage leading to less waste. Please explain the more wastage for lower body weight unless you mean skinny animals .
