Suitable trousers ?

Any recommendations for deer stalking suitable trousers ?

Ideally - robust , quiet , breathable , waterproof and not massively expensive ?

I have a pair of ridgeline pintail trousers they have a unique length system quiet waterproof and windproof, also not mad expensive worth a look.
uttrings have a deal on them i think.

Bought some Aigle a while ago, waterproof quite tuff and quiet. Just over £100.
All others( Harkila,Lasken,Blaser and Deerhunter) were too long in the leg and unable to alter.

Shooterking Greenland trousers from trade member mmbeatle on here.
Very well made with lots of useful features. Warm and waterproof too. Sensible price.
Would be too warm for summer but just the job for the remainder of the year. Outer material is cordura, which you would think is noisy. Whilst not completely silent, its plenty quiet enough for real world stalking. Jacket very good too. Better made than a lot of the eye watering price labels too.
Our member Ranger 22 put me onto the trousers, which he uses every day for work.

£20-£30 moleskin trousers and a set of waterproofs in the bag, or Swazi bushpants.

Unless I’m planning on getting really wet either does absolutely fine and are ten times more quiet than any synthetic modern type stuff (which usually leaks like a sieve anyway!)

I use moleskins too, unless I know I’m going to get soaked or I’m going to freeze in a highseat. My waterproof/cold weather trouser are Fjallraven Brenner Pro’s. They’re very good and reasonably priced.

Swazi 4WD pants or Harkilas. Swedteam possibly a better option than Harkila now. Mega money though.

Another vote for Deerhunter Ram. Unfortunately they haven't made them for a few years now.
