My pal got that one, think it was around 03:00, we took a suspended gralloch kit with us then Barry recovered the carcass with his quad, was around 150lb

It was about 35m from the tower, we went out early to try for deer but no animal movement so we stayed in place till just after first light, long cold night

We used that one in the photo the first night then went to a different one not far from there to try for deer again but one of the locals wasn’t happy so she was shouting and waving a torch so we moved back to the original tower, he’s got a few more apparently but you would have to confirm with Barry, it was a shame the thick fog came down the second night as we hoped they would be tricked into moving in it as cover but nothing showed apart from the sow with kids on a fly past, as has been said before there’s no guarantee so we were more than happy with our result.
Will definitely be going back for another go

assuming you had a legal right to be there which is I expect a given, there should be a law [and it should be vigorously enforced ]against this ridiculous scenario of objectors being able to turn up and disrupt things, especially when firearms are involved, if they wish to object fair enough but interfering with peoples legal pursuits is not in the interests of safety, would this behaviour be tolerated at a formula 1 track during a race, or ascot, or idiots throwing themselves onto motorways because they don't like cars and lorries.

then she needs a fence, and let people get on with legal pursuits on land that hes feck all to do with her.

rather like people who campaign for a bypass for years to ease traffic through the village, then oppose it when the proposed route is 100 mtrs from their garden.
