Available: RED AND SIKA STAG IN THE RUT IN THE TRUE HIGHLANDS

I also had an enjoyable week's hunt with Malc and his team on an SD week near Bonar Bridge in Sutherland. And I saw loads of red and sika and shot a couple and missed one too. Still a mystery - the miss I mean.

As some of you know I have helped Malc out on many of his trips in the highlands, The end of the day you are out stalking wild deer and as you can see from the photos there's been some great trips, But nothing is guaranteed in this game. What I will say is always 100% and guaranteed is the service and hospitality you will receive on one of these trips, It really is second to none. You want for nothing and everyone is looked after very well.

My first venture into guided red stag stalking was on this deal with Malc some years ago. Some very demanding walking for one who spent too many years behind a desk in later years, exhilarating and pushing one's physical limits. Highly recommended. PA110028.webpPA110032.webp

I know exactly where your stood. Stunning scenery, stunning area. Gold sika, silver roe have been taken from the strath in front of you, and consistently has one of, if not thee, largest average hill weight for red stags in that deer group. Some big boys to be had!!

Yes most seasons we take some nice heads off, including the odd medal. Not many Roe these days, due to the high numbers of Sika moving in. We do get some stonking Sika heads each year, and royal reds. But its a vast area we have access to, and also nearby on several other estates so it is the luck of the draw.
Just about full for 2020 already, I think we have one place left at the moment, possibly 2 depending on the outcome of 2 clients making their minds up this week.

I still remember getting Wapinschaws stag out off the hill.
