Possibly the best forgotten gem about classic bolt actions, a must read for those who are interested in the field.

Written in 1976, a bit dated but still relevant (most of these actions or derivatives are still being manufactured).

Resellers are asking around £100 for these.

It is an online website where you can go and read books that have been "donated" to the site.

Then use the search facility to find the book you seek.

Either read them using the online viewer, or if you want, download them to your device, in a variety of formats. Though you'll need about 600 megabytes spare for the pdfs.

I admit to being equally as unobservant. But seriously, direct links to the .pdfs, each several hundred megabytes, are not very helpful for those using e.g. a 'phone to try to take a look.

If you follow the links that I have given, you will instead have the options to read it on screen without downloading it, or to download in a variety of other formats, such as for kindles and other e-readers.

You will also see suggestions for other related books that might be of interest, as well as the other books that "The mad wizard" has also uploaded.

So I hope that others may find my links of interest too. And possibly more useful.

I have now discovered many other interesting books on related subjects which I never would have known about if I had simply clicked on your links. So thank you again for that.

No worries and apologies for snarky tone of my previous post.

PDF's are generally the best file format to be found on archive.org as most devices will display them easily and the 'image' quality is optimal as books are usually scanned in through this format.

Perhaps it is my very old computer or even older operator which is not up to "spec".
