The mount that comes with the PARD is designed to fit a weaver/picatinny rail.
As you have found out, it can also be clamped onto a dovetail rail, but the scope not centred above the action.
The adaptors I linked to are what many, many people use to mount a PARD 008 to a rifle with a dovetail rail
THEY WILL WORK!!!!

Cheers

The Anschutz comes with Dovetail as standard, the Pard uses Weaver which are wider, so you need the two piece converters, each one will fit in to the Pard and go on to the Anschutz Dovetails, I got mine off Amazon

If you use the single adaptors and have a problem getting the reticle near the centre of the display when the rifler is zeroed, try swapping the adaptors front to back and/or side to side.

Cheers Bruce, having enough trouble trying to get the screen To come up to align the cross for the lrf

Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but the rangefinder laser is not supposed to be at the same place as the reticle.
The small yellow box with the cross at it's centre should be where the rangefinder laser is flashing.
The idea is that you put the yellow box over what you want to range and the distance is shown next to the box
Once it gets a bit darker, switch on the rangefinder and put the PARD into night mode.
You should be able to see the vertical white flash from the rangefinding laser.
If the yellow box is not directly on top of the flash, the box can be moved until it is.
This is how you move the yellow box:
With the rangefinder switched on, bring up the menu (long press on the Menu button)
Now, a long press on the + button brings up a display showing the X and Y values for the position of the yellow box with the X value highlighted in blue.
Use the + and – buttons to change the X value and move the yellow box horizontally until it's where you want, then press the OK button to highlight the Y value.
Use the + and – buttons to change the Y value until the yellow box is directly on top of the bottom of the laser flash
When the yellow box is in the desired position, a short press on the Menu button returns the 008 to normal operation
Give me your e mail address and I'll send you a proper manual for the 008

Cheers

I actually got quite a bit of money back.
The 008 is about double the price of the 007, £650 as opposed to £325.
I sold the Zeiss on here for about £500 and bought the Minox off here for about £400 and it was like new.

I went through the same debate 007 or 008, thankfully I put a 008 on my 17HMR after that it was an easy decision to then get another 008 but this time the RF version on my 223 for foxing and Muntys issue with the 007 is the whole set up is a compromise and if you have a high end scope it doesn’t really work. I am happy with the choice I made

I sometimes pop a Pard 008 on my 1416; I use the adapters blow. If you buy adapters, make sure that are like the ones in the image below with a round underside; these are the only ones that fit onto the Anschutz round action.
Cheers

My fuse is getting mighty short with this project, think Monday I will go and bin the anschutz and get something else to put this pard on. Beginning to wish I hadn’t bothered going down the night vision route.
bought the adapters as suggested first and they have a flat bottom not curved so although they might kind of fit don’t think it’s the correct way to go.😡🤬🤬

Hi, available on e-bay

Before you order, check how many you’re getting as some sellers sell them individually.

Stick with it you’re nearly there; the Pard 008 is a good toy and great on a 22 or 17HMR for rabbits both day and night. I’ve got a couple of them and think they’re a good replacement for a day-scope on “short range” rifles.

Don’t get rid of you’re Anschutz; as they say - you won’t get rid if your problems - you’ll simply swap them for new ones

Cheers
