Anybody else ride motorcycles? Post them here.

Not a chance. It will have two wheels and no more.
While I can see the point for the life long biker who is no longer physically able to ride a bike. But they are definitely not for me.
Maybe, but the Maggot was the first successful trike conversion way back in the 70's, that actually worked.
Built by a mate of mine back then, he built a kit of parts for home completion as well, still building trikes to this day, seems to be keeping him busy.

Neil.

I suppose they lend themselves to conversion with the engine configuration. But a trike just seems to defeat the object of having a bike too me.
I have something along these lines in mind. With some design details of my own thrown in. A front end swap for CBR1000 forks and the rear shock too. The battery relocated to where the exhaust H box was. The rest onto a plate under the seat. The tank is from a different bike (no idea what) but will fit easily enough. Flat or possibly riser bars and a hugger come number plate mount on the rear wheel. I am looking at a GL1100 reverse Comstar rear wheel. The 17” rim size seems to be slightly easier to get tires for. The bonus is it’s a rear disc (potentially less hassle moving the foot peg’s.

The only trikes that are really acceptable are the ones where they still pivot and bank over.

The old rigid style ones handle like a potato.

Used to have a 2003 Yam R6 and do the odd track day, sold it and bought the T120 but sold that in 2020 to get some funds in and now have the 2016 Tiger Sport 1050 .

They are seriously cool. Would love one of those.

Been out this morning warming up the zed and the supermoto. Still salty roads round here though.
Got the lads zx6r to mot today as well,, after I fix the indicators.

Zed was treated to K-Tech suspension over the winter so itching to get it dialled in.

The previous (late) owners son in law has found the missing bits that he’d removed from the bike. So I am actually going to put the bit of frame back on. Then I can work on what I want to keep etc. I have a GL1100 wheel so that conversion is happening.
The question is at the moment what I end up with.

Took my KTM in for the Akro remap this afternoon, connection dropped during the update and now my bike is temporarily bricked........

Hopefully they fix it tomorrow, got a KTM 890 as a loaner in the meantime.

Unfortunately having to sell my 2016 Tiger Sport 1050 and a load of kit due to lack of work things haven’t picked up since this covid shat, gutted .
