Omicron

Not worried for myself as i didnt take it but lots of family have and I know of some very bad side effects for people already who were fit and healthy before having it and now not so much
You made your choice, they made theirs.

Worrying yourself to an early grave over things beyond your sphere of influence or control will not change those decisions one jot.

What’s done is done - move on and find ways to improve lives, either your own or others.

There are some in our community who have suffered from the vaccines too. Mostly those impacts seem to lessen over time, albeit months.

Truly long term impacts are another matter altogether. The most serious issue emerging is priongenesis.

So 17000 people died of covid in two years who had no underlying health problems. 80% of them were over 80 years old. Wasn't that call dying of old age before covid came along?
There seems to be a little change of opinion that lock downs don't work starting to appear. Who'd have thought it? they should have listened to dear old Anders, but what did he know?
Its been interesting reading on SD how people have responded over 2 years and who would have made good Stasi snitches and really need all forms of power over others kept well away from them.

World Council for Health??

Do you really not do any research into your sources?

Yep, it was quite stark how close to fascism people got, and quickly

If that’s what worries you in life then you really need to get out more.

Could u not also say that about the virus too??
When the average age of folk die with it is above the average life expectancy.
Yes many younger folk have died but young folk sadly die all the time anyway its not reserved for covid.

1 thing which really has surprised me about this virus is how many folk die of flu normally, was absolutley shocked to realise 400 folk a day can die with flu in a normal winter flu season and no on bats an eyelid, no headlines or anything.

I'm not anti vax as such normally, but have always thought how the hell can thy really 100% certainty say there is no long term effects when it is so new using new technology.
Generally drugs and vaccines are tested for years before being fully rolled out.

Far cleverer people than me have asked questions and raised valid concerns about possible long term side effects and all just shot down as cranks which i don't think is entirely fair in all the cases.
Althou no doubt there is plenty of cranks jumping on the band wagon.

As long as ur happy with the choice u have made (while u still have a free choice)

Must admit i think it is absolute madness to allow full crowds for the 6 nations in Dublin, more so the pubs than the stadium itself, but allowing folk to travel freely ( and even wanting to) is just crazy at the moment

Anders. A beacon of reason in a fog of information and panic.

And the Stasi snitches? In the good old days you got paid to be an informer. These days people are so stupid they do it for free.

Yes, you absolutely could say the same about the virus.

I lost my mother to high blood pressure, my father recovered from cancer, and my brother has progressive MS. No “reason” as such for any. It has made me somewhat fatalistic in my outlook on life.

Life deals some pretty crappy hands at times, but then that’s life for you.

In my opinion lockdowns have been a disastrous strategy - the result of politicians feeling like they have to be seen to do something - and we’ll be dealing with the effects of these policies for generations. Some scientists (or at least the scientific modellers) have been equally complicit. But then a lot of the public today seem to think they should be able to live forever, and expect the state to provide for them.

Im just worried how long its going to be before the penny drops and we start seeing the real long term effects of these untested vaccines and their side effects :(

Or the flip side, the long term effects on the non vaccinated people, who catch the virus, and are far more badly affected ???

Are there any statistics showing how many people have suffered negative effects, due to the vaccine, against the number of non vaccinated people, who have suffered, because they weren't ?

As a % would be good, because the vast majority have been vaccinated ?

But no one knows how bad they will get it in the first place ? Ive had it ,had no symptoms at all but tested positive last year , so if id had the vaccine ... i wouldnt have got it as bad as no symptoms ?
