Yew tree .243 load suggestion

I have a tika T3 with a 20” 1in 10 twist light weight factory barrel to reload for with 80.5gr Yewtree bullets and Lapua brass.

Does anyone have any experience with the above combination? Please can you share what you’ve found works?

I have some experience with these. My rifle has a 26" barrel 1:8 twist which may make the data less than perfect in your rifle.
Established a charge weight with V-n160 42.7gr this gives an ES of 11fps and average V0 0f 3191. Started seating depth test at 75th off and settled on 84th off. In my musket this gives consistent good groups. Good luck

Forgot. Fed 210m primers and the charge weight was the lowest ES with a 3 string Satterlee test

Have you considered contacting Richard at Yew Tree, he did the majority of the work up on my load and will no doubt be able to adjust for your barrel length etc.

Why not just contact me?
In any case N160 is the go to powder in .243 win. Charge weight range 42-45 grains. The overwhelming majority of rifles settle somewhere between 42.5 and 43 grains of N160 for 3,200 to 3,250 fps.
Start load development with the bullets seated 50 thou off the lands, run charge weight test. If the best group needs tightening up then run a jump test at that charge weight from 50-90 off in 10 thou increments.
