Johnson...a classless sh1t?

In 1974, McGuinness stated under oath in an Irish court that he was a member of the IRA. Later he denied ever having been in the IRA following a documentary. Later still he claimed he had always admitted to being a member of the IRA.
At the same time as claiming to be a man of peace, he stated in a radio interview that he thought that becoming a terrorist was the right thing to do and that he doesn't regret it.
The list of his lies goes on ad nauseam and well beyond.
First I've heard of it to be honest, not trying to say it's not true but it doesn't tally with the general history of the man.

On that we can agree on, I single out Johnson because at present he is the Prime Minister. When the next one comes along I will single him out too. I do hope that in a Nation of some 70 million people there is someone out there who can show a level of decency & integrity.
I’m sure there are many, and doubtless they have the good sense not to go into a business where you get paid less than your subordinates, then publicly berated for the incompetence and vices of your staff, and you can’t even fire them.

Ehhhhh, right.

It doesn’t tally with your opinion of the man, but it is right in line with his history. I can’t say I’m surprised you closed your eyes to that. There’s a certain strain of idiot all too common in Ireland who believes there’s no evil in the world but that done by an Englishman.

I'm getting bored of this little game mate, you made a silly claim I refuted it, you asked for an example of a leading politician that didn't tell lies and I gave one of many.

Quite right. And for one simple reason. We insist on blaming politicians for the misdeeds, incompetence and biases of civil servants and the public sector. This scandal is a prime example. At the instigation of left wing media, everyone has spent over a year clamouring for Johnson’s head and damning him as a sh1t,, yet none of them have applied the same criteria to the hundreds of other people equally, or in some cases considerably more, guilty. The public keeps insisting on blaming the wrong people and protecting the guilty, and we’re surprised the country’s going downhill.
Its a game, not meant to be taken seriously. If I was to be investigated I probably breached the “ guidelines “ daily, so what?
So did anyone else with a lick of sense.

Mc Guinness never denied his membership of the IRA and admitted that he was a member of the army council.
Adams denied membership, despite negotiating on their behalf for decades.

I thought these were well known facts, but apparently not outside the island of Ireland.

hes no worse no better than any other politician who sits on there arses all day and does nothing except lining there own pockets bs

Gentlemen we seem to have gone off piste this thread is about Boris Johnson being a liar and not fit for the office if PM, which he clearly is on both counts.
Well off piste because the thread was actually about the criticism in Sue Gray's report of the rude behaviour of civil servants to the cleaners and security staff. The OP wrongly attributed that to Johnson.

Which makes him unfit for the role of PM and he should go. Supporting him means you condone his behaviour and morales.

As much as I don’t agree with everything Boris does….I often think …what’s the alternative? A left wing Labour government that appeases by spending and puts us deeper in the hole? Woke Lib Dems that will go with so called green hypocritical solutions? Or worst of all up here - idiot SNP/greens?

No thank you, hopefully Boris is changed out and the conservatives get a shake up and start running a the country.

Regards,
Gixer
But hasn’t this government put up taxes to the highest on record and appeased the public by giving them some money? 😳

And look at Boris’s response to us -

ban on trophy hunting and import and export of any trophy,

all the debacle on shooting crows, magpies etc with open general licence,

Ban on use of lead

Loss of European Firearms Pass

Firearms licencing

Effective ban on taking any country side vehicle into most city centres with low emission zones

Housing policy and large swathes of countryside now under concrete

Sewage in our rivers. 15 years ago our rivers were really clean and recovering. Windrush in Oxfordshire, Almond up here in Edinburgh etc all had good levels of wild trout and grayling which only thrive in clean rivers. Now completely dead thanks to sewage overflows on a daily basis. And that is solely due to increase housing and no investment by private water companies - instead paying large bonuses to directors

I could go on.

You missed one out. I million migrants given residency in the UK in 2021, the highest figure ever recorded. That will affect all of the above, especially the spreading tide of concrete.
