Please see post #11.

There is still 'freshening up' going on in the 'shop, there will soon be new knives added and potentially some existing models discontinued, a proper shake up. The MuntjaX pattern will not be one of those discontinued ones though, it is too good.

#1160 is a product of continued tinkering (mainly around the blade finish at the minute), the MuntjaX has a 100mm blade length and this example is made from 3mm stock SF100 blade steel.

Full flat grinds with secondary bevels taking them to their edge, the secondaries around .5/.6mm per side and uniform from plunge to tip.

Black canvas Micarta scales secured by a brace of stainless Corby type bolts.

Sheath is a hand made, hand stitched premium grade and through dyed leather one, tobacco in colour.

Here is a link to the Muntjac & MuntjaX page on my website, you'll see there that the the starting price for this model knife is £395.

#1161, which is a prime example knife, is priced all in at £295.

There will be more of these to this specification.

#1161...

... is supplied with a stonewashed blade finish, I am so impressed with this finish that I intend to use it across the board, on all the knives that I make.

The finish does not save any work and adds a little cost (to me, not you) but it looks amazing and is hard wearing too.

It is something that I have been experimenting with for a good while now and now am almost set up to process them myself in the workshop.

Through this coming week I will have two more of these knives to this specification, the last two I'll be able to offer at this current deal/price point...

Not sure on actual serial numbers yet but other than those numbers the knives/sheaths will be exactly the same as #1161 above.

Very Nice knife, as always Stuart. Are kydex sheaths available to buy for the yds and muntjax? If so can you pm me the price please. Thanks. Toby
Hi Toby, they are, or could be, but the problem is with the knives you mention is that I would need the actual knife/knives to mould the sheath around, which makes it a bit of a faff and a bit costly with all the courier fees added on top.
