Why does that fail? Weak design or use?Bolt stop will break (round off) eventually, crap mags and stocks.
Weak design or use?
It probably is, but is it a weak design or can rough usage break it? Not seen any mention of it online?how many rounds until it happens? That's one in the same thing...
Don't own the hunter, but have had the S20 Precision for a couple of years. Can't fault it, feeds perfectly, no bolt stop issues, no stock issues.
I had a mannlicher with this fault, speaking from personal experience it’s only a matter of time until a deer needs a follow up shot and ends up being lost, wounded and suffering. I got rid of the mannlicher straight after this happened to me.Have the hunter in .243. Really like it but does have the occasional magazine feed issue. It’s cost me a few deer when it doesn’t feed the second round. Seems to help only having 3-4 in the magazine and not 5. Shame as it’s a well known issue and seems to be ignored by Sako.
careful there, you'll have the single-shot brigade on your backside shortly!I

Do you know anyone who has one in a proper calibre2 Mates have the hunter version and 1 has the precision , all in 6.5 creedmoor.
No issues with any of them and all very accurate.
That’s the only thing that’s putting me off to be honest, I’ve heard the stocks are tacky although the stock design is good. Being a full length action it’s hard to justify over a Tikka with a stock upgrade.contractor pal of mine has one in 270. he seems happy with it and it is accurate enough for his needs. he hasn't had it that long, so time will tell whether or not it stands up to some proper use/abuse. My personal thought is that the stock is shite and plastiky as all hell!
you're a big fan of the PSE stocks are you Dave?Build quality is appalling.
As has been said , T3 in a pse stock, bobs yer uncle
