Rum (liquid form, not calibre)

I had to get up in the night and evacuate my stomach last time I had something like that from there  I'd better stick to the shandy

I had a nice one a few years ago, I bought 2 cans and still have second for a special occasion.

Even More Death by Northern Monk and Evil Twin Brewing - toasted coconut, vanilla and cacao imperial stout. 12%

It pours like used motor oil and its bloody lovely. Like a boozy Bounty bar.

I do quite like spicing my own rum now and then, also done it with vodka.

Vodka with some coconut and vanilla pods in it makes a nice spirit to mix with coke without having that overly sweet Malibu taste.

Raspberry vodka from our own raspberries, made in exactly the same was as Sloe gin. It comes out the most gorgeous deep crimson colour and tastes even better.

We have an allotment and the first thing I planted was a small cider orchard, but I find a great deal of our produce ends up pickled in alcohol. 🤪

If you get a chance to sample El Dorado Guyana Rum I heartily recommend they do a 5,12,15 and 21year old my choice is either the 12 or 15. Just back from Guyana we’re it is served on the rocks with coconut water !!!!

Cachaça is like petrol on its own isn't it.
My manager over there kept buying me bottles of the stuff, each time he would say "THIS is the best Cachaça in Brazil", to which I would say, "You said that about the last one".
To be perfectly honest they all tasted as bad as the last.

One evening he took three of us to a Cachaçaria, basically a bar that sold nothing else, we tried quite a few different 'premium' Cachaças and they all tasted the same. Christ I was bad the next day.🤢

Yeah, its just generic white moonshine isnt it, nicer with the lime juice.

I had some palm wine in Gambia that was distilled in a drum over a fire....that tasted the same.

Current bottle is bumbu spiced taken with ginger beer but goes down to easy.
so many great one out there especially pussers for painkillers.

Some of the very best was in the Dominican Republic, brand unknown but superb. The bush rum in Guyana was also very nice and could power rockets if needed. MountGay from Barbados also superb and smooth enough to have on ice or neat.
