Hey guys,

I got given some of the above, which I pulled the heads and I used the brass.

After now thinking about it, I should of just used the ammo up as training / fun ammo!

Does anyone know what powder is in these factory rounds? I can't seem to find the information, plus after contacting a supplier, they had no clue either.

Is it general knowledge or some kind of mystery? I just wanted to know as I kept the powder ( separate of course! ) and want to reload them back in cheap brass I got to just use them up really, but I want / need to know what powder it is !?

Any help would be great !

This is from the Sako cartridge database, as a factory loaded round but with every home load, data will change with your input.
cartridge type, coal, rifle etc….

the powder for the sako bullets will be produced specially by the powder manufacturer IT WILL NOT BE CANISTER GRADE that you can buy from your rfd. as stated by another poster dont use it to reload as you have no idea what it is ,lesson learned .dont pull factory ammo USE IT UP AS FACTORY ROUNDS then us the case to reload
