When you get in from a Shoot Day, and discover why there is no hot water left...

My spaniel hated the bath but was fine with a cold hose! She loved grooming herself for ages and would come out sparkling.

I love how you’ve anonymised them ... if that’s even a word.

Wait, I get it! You’re trying to save them from peer embarrassment should their shampoo brand get out.

My local garage has a dog wash/dry bay.
Costs a tenner but I don’t have to spend 45 minutes cleaning up the bathroom and pulling dog hair out of the plug hole.

I have a portable K’archer, the dog gets pressure washed with warm water before he gets in the car and he’s nearly dry by the time I get home.

An old real Hessian sack was the best, train your pup to be put in it and tie it around their neck so they can't get out. They will be warm and dry in minutes.
My sprocker got hyperthermic one sleeting day. I had to carry her back when her legs were going. I abandoned the gun and put the forend in the game bag and lugged Tia to the car. Then I put her in the sack. Once home, gun collected leaving the place, she was red hot and feeling much better.
Sadly, finding a real Hessian sack is near impossible now.
