Toyota Landcruiser 250 coming to the UK

A first review, and if the pricing is correct it will do rather well. Especially for those wanting a tough capable truck and family car, but don’t want a pickup. And by the looks of it quite a bit cheaper to buy and run than the New Defender or Grenadier. But the four cylinder diesel may lack a little refinement and power for many

It would be good for the wife for sure, I could see it when I’m too old to lift/handle reds.

Still want a g wagon pro…

I can see this rolling into school pickup with all the wealthy farmers wives before long, esp if they can put it down as a business asset

At the point of being fed up with 1.5k 2k beat em up motors, its highly likely I will get one of these.

When's it coming, Ive been on Toyotas mailing list since it was announced a few month ago and still can't get any info of when it will arrive in the UK

Fit for purpose, nice to see a 4x4 that isn't a footballers tart wagon or a softroader SUV that flood the current market. I hope it does well.

There is photoshopped SWB 3 door version (that isn't being made) that has been posted online in blue. It looks absolutely brilliant. Hopefully Toyota see it and make one. It would absolutely **** all over the market share of the new Defenders once people realised they could have a smaller version of a capable off roader that would work for a long period of time without prohibitively expensive repairs.

If I start saving now, plus the residual value of my existing Hilux at 15 yrs old, I might just (never) afford one as my retirement car.

Those Mahindras get a great write up in Oz. Mainly because they are dirt cheap and capable as hell.
About half the price of the Toyota.
Bet they would sell like hotcakes over here
