Landig LU9000 larder

Looking at this LU9000 from Coolgame. I know a few on here have one. It says 4 Roe Or 2 fallow.
Realistically has anyone squeezed a few more than 4 roe in it? I have a permission crawling with Roe which the farmer wants reduced in winter so could be shooting 5 or 6 in a day And hen storing waiting for game dealer collection.
Other than that i only shoot the odd MJ, Roe and fallow on other permissions so looking to buy something to cover all angles. Thanks.

I have the LU7000 and added the middle rail from Landig.

The photo below shows 5 Roe but I have managed 6.

Go with as large a chiller as you can afford, I’m currently contemplating increasing my storage space.

The Landig chillers are brilliant though, very quick to get down to temperature and easy to clean.

Well stacked out, could you give me the dimensions of the bracket and tube please looking front on as I have been asked about a hanger for them but nothing to work off. Metric if fine.

Perfect. That’s exactly the answer I was looking for. I’m looking at the LU9000 due to being that little bit taller and for the odd fallow. Thanks again. 👍

The advantage of them is the can be turned off when not in use whereas a walk in chiller needs to be on all the time I believe.
The 9000 has a drain hole that you can attach a drain to so I hose mine down very handy too
Thanks. Yes that is quite handy.

Have the biggest landig model LU10000 i think via coolgame and superb. Can fit plenty in and switch on when needed and with a few mins at temp. Buy extra hooks and plenty can be hung.

I've a 9000. Superb. Have had 3 fallow in it. Only managed one large red hind though and that was hung using one of @Tim.243 's hangers (superb bit of kit). Its a great fridge: I'd been through a few cheap cheerful drinks fridges that eventually packed up and so bit the bullet (pardon the pun) to get the Landig. Easy to clean and it gets to temp super quickly so ideal if you aren't using it all the time.

No view on the landig fridges but I’ve got a small walk in chiller that will take 3 or 4 lowland hinds. I only turn it on when I need it and it also comes down to temp in minutes so that isn’t just a feature of landig fridges.

I’ve had mine since 2007, it’s had a new fan and thermostat, these were bought for a few quid from tinternet. Can’t fault them, although mine was 1/2 the price of them now.

Thats all rather interesting stuff. I used to use a double drinks chiller, but to be honest I was never very happy with the lack of air movement , tried other bodge ups, but now I have reds to deal with regularly so got to start looking fir something effective, but able to deal with larger animals. I would love to buy a good sized walk in, we have the room here for one, but I am not consistently shooting the numbers to justify the outlay.

A small modular walk-in chiller is almost certainly cheaper than a Landig - by a good chunk. That's the route I went down a good few years back (as I was shooting reds and needed the height).

I’ve been thinking about buying a landig fridge from Coolgame, but the company is now closed and landig doesn’t seem to deliver to the UK. Does anyone know any UK dealers or other game fridge alternatives?
