Hi all,
Just a quick introduction to myself.
I joined this site to learn and understand more about all types of hunting.
I’m a FAC holder with multiple calibres and an open ticket for over 10 years. I also have qualified DSC2 accreditation.
I’m based in Manchester but travel all over the UK for mainly deer stalking but I prefer to travel not too far.
I’m always willing to listen and learn new ideas and techniques.
Much appreciated for all the advice and opportunities I’ll receive through the stalking directory.

I'm a new member too, but unlike you I have no qualifications as yet, I'm looking to do the first accreditation soon, then hopefully get my gun cert. I would be very grateful, if at all you would consider taking me along on a stalking day, as I need to get a lot of experience as I can before my course starts. Hope to hear.

Hi Roy,
I am a member of a syndicate in Shropshire but unfortunately only members are allowed to stalk on the land but I’m always looking for new pastures to stalk.
The best route to gaining experience and your FAC is to pay for some stalking days using their estate rifles. Ensure that you book with a reputable guided stalker who can provide your needs before parting any money. Part of the condition to obtain a FAC is a letter of permission to stalk.
The courses are helpful to teach about the whole aspects of deer stalking especially safety when finding a coach/supervisor is difficult.
