Bullet head suggestions for a .270 for wild boar

Any suggestions for a very quick expanding accurate 150gn for a .270? I’m currently using Berger hunting vld’s very accurate bullet but I’m worried they won’t expand quickly enough.
Suggestions welcome.

My 150gn heads are Seria Game king in the .270, are working well for Reds. I am sure the Head name police will arrive soon enough.
Not used on wild boar but wouldn't hesitate to shoot one with mine.

Shoot it in the head would be my x spot

sierra game kings probably

I can’t see a reason to change from Berger though , they will be fine
Thanks 👍🏻 the bergers are a very accurate bullet head but they do tend to penetrate a bit further before transferring the energy into the wound cavity. Okay as long as you don’t miss the heart but if the bullet strays a bit higher they tend to zip on through the lungs and then they run for about 100yds before dropping.

PM me your address as I will post a few SGK also some Speers both 150 heads if that helps.

I really appreciate the offer thanks but I’ll need quite a few to do load testing then test on boar. I’ve some hornady sst’s to test next then I’ll try the seria game heads then I’ll try the SGK’s then the Speers. Thank you for the kind offer and suggestions.

If the 150's are anything like the 95gn heads (savage things) in my .243 blown some big holes in deer. The exit can be small but hit a bit of bone and they open up very well.
Ask the head police as they shoot a good number each year
Great to hear. I’m looking for the best wound cavity that my .270 can create, trying to minimise the risk of having to follow a feral boar into the bushes.

Yes, to be honest a lot is made of deer being tough but if you look at how they are made up where the vitals sit is only covered by thin skin/fur and ribs. 1 decent sharp knife and a bit of know how it can be broken down in pieces very quickly.
Good luck with the sst's

150gr factory 270 tends to produce less energy than a 130gr factor mainly due to the loss of 300fps at the muzzle

Personally I would run a 130-140gr bullet of stout construction
A monolithic copper/brass
A Partition
A Prohunter
An Interlock
Something bonded etc

A semi frangible that is designed to expand at long range lile the SST would not be my first choice
You might be punching the through an inch of mud before you get to a fleshy part.
