Howard leigh by Honeywell Impact Sports ear protectors help needed please.

I bought a set of these about a year ago, but recently the metal/plastic strip inside the head band has just about broken.
I'm pleased with the actual protectors but I've been unable to find a spare parts outlet etc in the UK in order to get a replacement part.
If any one can help with any info regarding this problem, I would be most grateful.
I have sent one email to the US site asking for assistance, no reply, I've sent another today but I'm not living in hope.
The next set I buy will be a UK company with parts availability.

Thanks for the info, At least I know now that replacement 'head bands' are not available.

What are 'Chinese drop ship sites' please?

Would something like this work:

I would suggest that you get some gel ear cups as well. They make a world of difference in hot weather.

Steve.
Many thanks Steve, could well be the answer.
This is why I did not want to ditch the muffs as I've already fitted a good set of gel ear cups and also taken the muffs apart and fitted more sound proofing in them, making the muffs even better.

@Howa , did you get sorted on these ? I ask as I knew I had a pair that died on me and I found them. You are welcome to them to salvage the headband. Postage only.

Thanks very much, I would welcome them from you.
Yes postage fine, second class parcel good.

If you send me the postal charge amount and your bank transfer details please, I'll send payment to you straight away.
Many thanks,
Ray

Drop shipping is where someone advertises and sells goods but holds no stock. When an order is placed it is then delivered directly to the customer from a mass stockist or the manufacturer.

I've had several pairs of these, but each time it's the wires that break from stress where they fold.

In the end I invested in Sordin Supreme Pro x, you can read my comparative review in the thread here

Having been using them for some considerable time now, I find the Sordin headset infinitely more comfortable than the Howard Leight.
