Anybody else ride motorcycles? Post them here.

I’ll be honest. I understand that one better than the “ My wife says no way “ reason

That makes my skin crawl

Out of how many of thousands that didn't die though.
I’ve been around road racers all my days.

Very very few ride as a hobby ,quoting too dangerous.
I value their thoughts and input highly.

Plenty do without incident though.

However , it’s not for me at this present stage.

All my friends who grew up in my age group , now just do track days , some with a day time MOT and ride there and back .

Others with full track set up.

I was a despatch rider, courier, for nigh on 15 years
In that time I went to 6 funerals of guys that I had known.
3 from the same firm in a 6 month period.
That never put me off riding, as it was just a **** part of the job
Too be honest it was more of a lifestyle than a job.
The amount of ex dizzies that I know who now hate bikes is pretty sad tho.
I got out of it when it became impossible to make decent profit anymore

A mate has had his for 25 yrs and loves it.
I’d never give up my PX. I love it to death. A nice T5 though. Yeh I’d have one of those

I had a classic but sold it on . Can’t keep them all I suppose

Rented this the other day. The Aprilia Tuareg 660.

Very comfortable, handled well, sounded like absolute shite though.

The engine sounds very agricultural, and you can't even hear the exhaust over the parallel twin clattering away.

I ride for pleasure these days.
It's all single track lanes around here.
Anything big n daft is too much if that makes sense.
I'm getting as much fun just tinkering with them down in the workshop, and the occasional blatt out over the fells.
You don't have to spend a fortune to have fun.
Get it done and have some yourself.

Came across this on a small ads site the other day and just couldn't say no. All going through at the moment, 2017 with 4,400k on the clock, like brand new.

I was amazed to learn all factory spec with extras, Indian seem to have mastered mixing modern tech with classic looks.

Can't wait to get on it!

The bike hasn't been out in a fair few weeks, but I have decided to chuck a few quid at the car.

Ordered a nice new hybrid turbo, intercooler etc. Going from a humble 180bhp to near 330bhp.

Should keep me entertained until the bike comes back out.
