Ruger American gen 2 243 bullet Choice

Hi guys I’ve got a 242 Ruger American gen 2 Ive tried a few rounds though it and never so far seems to be any good. Does anyone have the same model in 243 what rounds you using. Regards owen

What cartridges have you tried so far?

Have you given the barrel a really good clean?

Is everything nice and tight and has scope been put on properly?

Rifle new or 2nd hand?

What is your definition of shite grouping and acceptable grouping. A several thousand pound custom rifle that doesn’t produce sub MOA groups is dissapointing. A few hundred quid new cheap American factory made rifle might shoot a 1” group, but really sub 2” is what is probably more realistic?

What’s your own experience and skills?

I use 100g sako game head . Never had any problems , they can be expensive at times.
