We came second in last years Purdey
Its always nice to get a bit of a pat on the back from some of the chaps i have read about - and been inspired by over the years - Hopefully i may inspire a few others now too

What a wonderful project. Its too bad I'm 6k miles away or I'd be happy to give you a few weekends. On a different property than I have now, and on a smaller scale, I did the same sort. Few things have matched the pride I felt in my accomplishments and It still brings a smile twenty five years later.

Reminds me of the Phil Drabble books I read many years ago, all about the restoration he undertook on his block of Forestry Commission land, which he purchased.

Thanks mate - I think good on Schoffel too for providing their resources and expertise and indeed platform - The chaps that came and helped do it Will Pocklington and Patrick were amazing - and great that they have not shyed away from the harder stuff like predator control
